Education
West
Yorkshire Archive Service offers activities and resources to support a wide range of learning. The focus of our work is about using and
understanding archives and assisting people to use them in their teaching and learning.
This section covers the different areas of learning that WYAS can offer support to. We have schools resources, resources for Further and Higher Education, as well as working with formal and informal Adult Education.
The Further and Higher Education page offers a leaflet for students to support them visiting the archives. It also explains the support we can offer to lecturers. This includes support when visiting our archives, guidance on sending students to the archives and what we can offer in the lecture hall.
Schools
In the Activity Sheets page you will find downloadable activity sheets to support activities and learning in the classroom.
We also offer sessions in schools on a wide variety of topics, visit the Archives in the classroom page to find out more.
