Please use either 'Newstead Road, Wakefield' or 'Margaret Street, Wakefield' as your destination. On arrival, continue down Newstead Road with our building on the right. Our car park entrance can be found on the right hand side.

Monday 9.30am to 5.00pm
Second and fourth Monday of the month 9.30am to 8.00pm
Tuesday 9.30am to 5.00pm
Thursday 9.30am to 5.00pm
Friday 9.30am to 5.00pm
Second Saturday of the month 9.30am to 1.00pm
Please note that closures and restrictions may apply over the lunchtime period (1:00pm-2:00pm). Please ask staff for more details.

About the Office
The West Riding Registry of Deeds building is the headquarters of the West Yorkshire Archive Service. It houses records of the former West Riding and West Yorkshire county wide, as well as being the record office for Wakefield Metropolitan District. The Headquarters also provide facilities such as conservation and microfilming for the whole Service.
